It used to be a good cafe years ago, but it has slowly gone down hill over years, the prices are a bit expensive as well, I will be going somewhere else nextime.

Fantastic food,recommend afternoon tea upstairs ,is worth looking at old war items, lovely people ,very friendly,

Lovely

Decent sandwiches but don't ask for extras on them like a boiled egg or mayo,the old bint that works there will moan to the other old bint what works there.

What a cracking deal ! A jacket potato, a barm with meat (Steak Canadian the staff said) plus two drinks cost 11 only. And food quality not bad. I must visit again.

We wanted to stick to the Slimming World plan and the lady on the till and the chef were really accommodating letting us swap a couple of items i.e no fried but scrambled ... more
