I've been with hotpod yoga for over 5yrs and completed over 700 classes from Hotpod, dynamic, nurturing flow. Been with the new owners for over 2yrs since it re-opened after the pandemic. Its been good in the Pod being able to switch off from the outside world and focus on your own wellbeing. This feeling is temporary whilst in the Pod for 1hr. At the time I thought you cannot get better than this. The cardiovascular part is good but not as intense I expected it to be that will challenge ones inner core. The postures are short and quick and rushed and do not really test your core ability. It's good for people who want to be passive in there postures and don't want to push themselves and be immersed inside and outside the Pod. I have attended alot of hotpod classes and over time what I have noticed Hotpod is more focused on new beginners rather than the existing members who pay 86 a month subscription. The unlimited subscription is costly and you want to ensure you get a good workout within the Pod that exercises your core and stretching and you burn a good amount of calories as well a challenge yourself to your limits to get the ultimate results. On many occasions the overall Hotpod classes has toned down due to beginners in the classes. This has been raised with Hotpod but my plea was ignored, which I find totally unfair. Hotpod classes are designed for people of mixed abilities and the dynamic flow classes are more advanced but still toned down. Also you don't get to do the challenging postures regularly and after weeks and possibly months you get to revisit those postures. There is no consecutive or continuation of these postures. Special workshops are created that comes with additional costs which should be incorporated into the daily classes. Lastly Hotpod is a professional business and should conduct itself professionally all times. The teachers shouldn't gossip behind the backs of students by getting involved in their personal affairs and being judgemental or belittling them. Yoga is about inner peace, self reflection, kindness & exercising a positive mindset. Leicester Hotpod behaviour goes against it's own basic principle teachings. I am disgusted by the behavior of some of the teachers at hotpod and for these reasons as well as others i have chosen to leave Hotpod. I have moved onto practicing other methods of Hot Yoga (B) that is a total game changer for me when it comes to challenging your core. Sessions are much longer. You burn 3 times more calories, longer class sessions, holding postures longer, challenging your limitations, body sweat and fatigueness. It's a hot environment for 1hr 30 mins constant yoga flow class and you burn over 1,000 calories. I understand other methods of Hot Yoga is not for everyone and new members are welcome to join in at the same pace as the rest of the members in the class. Nobody is side lined. I'm in a much better place that shows great results than Hotpod and everyone is treated equally .

A friend invited me to use her code for a free first session, I really wasnt sure it would be for me but with nothing to lose decided to give it a try. I was nervous going to my first class alone, I neednt have been as experienced members are so friendly and showed me the changing area and where to go. Entering the studio I was met by Tash, she was lovely and explained what we would be doing, also lending me a matt towel for my first week. Soon as I was inside the pod any of my nerves melted away with the warmth, sounds and relaxing purple hues around me, I was completely at ease. The first session I found a little tricky as a complete yoga novice but Tash offered a simplified version and some adjustments which really helped. I left feeling lighter in mind, energised and happy with my achievements, I had the best nights sleep Id had in a long time that evening. Fast forward 2 months later and Im always eager for another lesson, any spare time I can grab an hour Im there, I enjoy trying the various classes and each of the teams different teaching styles. Im amazed at how much progress Ive made in such a short time and how much I fallen in love with my hour in the pod. Cant rave about this place enough, I encourage everyone to give it a try, it might just be for you.
