(Course completed: DBT for Adolescents) Loved this course. SO interesting and relevant to the young people I work with. I didn't want it to end! I am looking forward to taking this knowledge into my work and hopefully further training.

3 day DBT essential skills course: Truly essential skills to have for anyone working in mental health. Have been a psychiatrist for over 20 years, with a special interest in personality disorders and I still picked up very good skills and knowledge in this course. Am interested in doing further accreditations with APT.

Much of the information was particularly pertinent to community mental health teams. This should be mandatory training for staff in these areas. Even though all attendees w ere ward-based, the training was incredibly helpful and well-delivered. Despite having nursed for years, I acknowledge becoming stuck in patterns of interactions with patients that may not be helpful as the information delivered. I have left feeling refreshed and determined to adopt more therapeutic language, styles and methods of interactions with patients.
