I started working for this company after a warmish welcome, after going through all the rigmarole, I was told they had received my DBS and references so was given the online training, 2 courses 70, after completing these I was given my first placement, I was left in a kitchen all night on my own, after only one month whilst at work and having a break I smashed my wisdom tooth and despite being in chronic pain I stayed for 3 hours and finished my shift, upon leaving I called an emergency dentist who called me with an emergency appointment, I contacted synergy and told them I would be unable to make my shift 2.5 hours before the shift was due to start, I then received a nasty message saying that due to me having the tooth fragments being removed and being in agony I had lost all my shifts and no further shifts were given to me. After going backwards and forwards I was told that I was no longer employed, the company are now refusing to give me my DBS or training certificates despite me having payed for them, after speaking with the DBS and cqc I learned I actually should never of been working unsupervised as only an adult first check was carried out, if you are thinking of working for this company I strongly suggest you look for alternative employment, worst company I've worked for after working in healthcare for 12 years.
