Countrywide has been managing our Estate for the last 10 months and done so really well. We only had to deal with Dean Randle and so far he has shown a high level of professionalism. He is very prompt to answer any emails or phone calls whether he has the answer or not and has always been courteous with us and our requests. He is efficient in putting things in motion to solve issues for the entire estate and shows a very clear understanding of the residents needs. Dean is experienced in long term planning for an old estate such as ours. So thumbs up to you Dean

Wish I could leave no star rating, our experience with Countrywide has been an absolute nightmare that we would not wish on our worst enemies. We moved into Equinox House with maintenance issues still outstanding such as leaking toilet and sinks, sockets hanging off the wall, no blinds whilst on the ground floor facing a very busy road restricting our privacy, we've had pedestrians as well as cars stuck in traffic look into our bedrooms during all hours of the day. The building is like a drug dealers trap house, there's plenty of strange people in and out so there's no form of security there. There's a homeless man living under the communal staircase who has been more pleasant than some of the drug dealers who've had a few altercations with people from the complex including a physical incident that involved 2 men against one female resident in the car park. Speaking of the car park they choose to charge some residents 50 a month to use whilst majority of people that use it have mentioned they don't have to pay for it! Everyone has access to the car park even people that don't live here! The parking is very poorly managed, with people parking as they please including blocking the exit! They informed us it was professions only, just to find out majority of occupiers in the complex are students, so expect to hear music with heavy bass consistently from 11pm onto the early hours of 4/5am EVERYDAY without fail, oh and also the smell of marijuana in the corridors! Can't even report to the council as the addresses aren't registered! On one occasion there was a fault with the fire alarm and the whole complex had to endure the piercing sound of a fire alarm consistently from 11pm until the following day around 2pm. We've been here over a month and none of the maintenance issues have been resolved - not a single one, still no blinds, toilet seat and still managing with a leaking toilet and sinks. No one seems to be able to help with anything, you get told to contact one person who refers you back to the first person you were in contact with. Whatever you do, don't do this to yourself stay far away from this company. We didn't realise we were paying to experience hell. Update - 2 weeks after originally posting this review we've had people who have been ignoring our emails contact us and negotiating us taking down our reviews. So it seems the only way to get a response and any issue resolved is by reaching through google reviews - we still have no blinds and it's been 2 months in this flat now!

I don't usually leave reviews but I reckon I should with these geezers, who does referencing for them cause I didn't expect to live in a building that stinks of weed and inconsiderate junkies playing music until 5am opposite me tried complaining to the chaps on the contract but and I state they said it was nothing to do with them? Good one. I'd avoid anything to do with this company unless you're a drug addict a with no respect then they've got the right apartment block for you

Countrywide have been managing our property at 'arm's length' for several years now without really engaging with the property owners (although never in a 'fully managed' capacity), however in recent months we have refocused and the service and comms has been excellent, long may it continue

One star is too many for this company, As they pride themselves on being "ESTATE MANAGEMENT" I personally wouldn't let them manage doing the simplest of jobs. We received our keys back in October and since then we've been waiting on blinds, working sinks, working toilets.. the list goes on, In the midst of all of this WE were accused of changing the locks so their building management couldn't get in, when in actual fact it was Spencer's Estate Agents, which only proved to us there's no communication and had to change our working shifts so they could rectify their own mistake with not even a thank you. Not to even mention access to our own water and electricity meters, where we've now not had a reading for 3 months, I will be invoicing Countrywide our usage as it's been an inconvience to us since day one. Not to mention the people they put in charge of buildings, giving them the "property manager" name, a goat could manage this building better, in fact I'm pretty sure whoever gave them that job title needs to lay off the flat 5 special. The building it'sself is not secure in any way, this is proved by people LIVING UNDER THE STAIRS like a scene out of the borrowers. So we're being told we have to pay MONTHLY to live here when we could live for free??? They've clearly not done ANY referencing due to the fact drug dealers and students live here, When we were told it would only be working professionals and families meaning the endless noise complaints and smell complaints we've had to make to the "property managers" and the police. Not to mention getting accosted by bailiffs every single day for another person's issues, the theft of post due to the fact apparently the building has a service where someone comes and signs for parcels if you aren't in and they just LEAVE THEM IN THE HALLWAYS where all the delinquents of the building can get to them. So yeah thanks for that! Wonderful. Since we took the contract it's been issue after issue after issue not to mention the building isn't even registered as we've struggled to get Internet, council tax, parcels, the lot due to the address not being recognised. I personally believe the cure for cancer would be publicised and Brexit would be over before Countrywide Estate Management did anything remotely useful. This review comes after nearly 37 emails requesting someone higher up in the company to complain to but not actually getting any reply back. my position is classed as a social entrepreneur meaning I have a voice that gets heard by ALL businesses including the newspapers, I WILL take action should nothing improve. I'm also starting to believe it won't be a simple leave either considering we haven't received anything to tell us our deposit is protected. They seem like the company who will charge you for the damages you moved in with.
