I have been helping a lady of advanced years with a rogue trader these are - her thoughts - Rich quoted for the removal of an old patio on 10th June 2021 for work to start in September. After numerous teletphone calls and texts he finally put a skip on my front lawn later that month. A week later again following even more chasing telephone calls he ripped up the old slabs leaving the patio unusable. At the end of October he finally lay the hardcore. I had to pay half the final cost. The concrete was layed at the end of November he then demanded full payment dispite the work not being finished. I felt rather intimidated by his manner as he said he'd "send the boys round" if the money was not transfered immediately he'd got they'er wages to pay. 8 months later I still have an unfinished patio with cracks appearing . As to the number of telephoe calls, texts and emails they are just too many numerous to count. Promises, Promises promises but no action This is NOT A GOOD COMPANY TO DEAL WITH.

Please DO NOT use this company. We would not recommend it based on our extremely poor experience with them and poor quality of work. Our observation of their work done on our property was that: - Their work was left un-finished ( for eg. amongst other things: placement of slate chips to fill the gaps on the sides of the pathways were not done, inspite of being assured they would be done, steps left unfinished, drain pipe horn leading to gutter not fitted) -All rubbish was not cleared up (including a heavy slab of concrete) -Large cracks noted in the concrete pathway within 2 months of the works last year. We were told that they would come back to fix this in the spring this year- yet this has not yet happened. This is inspite of repeated reminders, and assurances that they would come shortly (It is now more than 1 year since we have been requesting them) -Immediate bleaching of the colour of the concrete path leading to ugly patches of white within the beige concrete. We were informed they would come back to fix this -in the spring this year- this has not yet happened, again inspite of repeated requests to fix it and assurances that they would. -Extremely poor professionalism -Poor communication within their staff group, leading to staff not knowing what was discussed with the owner (Richard) causing confusion. -Disingenuity (false assurances) -Poor aftersales / remedial service -Poor attention to detail in-spite of high costs (craters/ depressions in some areas of patio where water collects and edging of path askew) -Delay in returning garage keys - The payment schedule indicated on the order form was different to their aggressive demands for money (even before the section of work described was completed)- leading to confusion -Their services are not value for money inspite of being very, very expensive Avoid this company- like plague!
