Marpak Limited

Ive been working at Marpak for quite a while and contrary to other reviews job security is extremely high with over 80% of the workforce having served over 10 years. Hard work is always noticed and if justified rewarded and considering the current climate that is quite a statement. If youre looking for job security then I would always recommend and would also point out that they are an equal opportunities employer.

Very customer focused offering excellent customer service across the board,cons, absolutely no loyalty to employees,when an employee questioned his payrise (20 pence PH) he was told to do more hours if he wanted more money ,this employee gave his notice right there,I worked for marpak for 6 months,staff are avarage and language issues are prevelent, floor management are fine and interact very well with floor staff ,however there is Zero job security and no loyalty to employees whatsoever,if you are considering working here make sure your contract is not zero hours and make sure you know exactly what the wage is ,I was offered an wage with increase after 12 weeks and perm contract ,5 months later I still had neither ,when I raised this with the director he did resolve it on the day but no backpay for wages lost ,very slow work environment and far too much shop floor politics going on ,to add there are some outstanding staff members that have worked for the company for along time and even they do not get loyalty after the does unfortunately
