ASDA Opticians

Excellent service all very polite and informative ,however I went last week and the lady at the desk was a bit abrupt with me ,I was being served by a new lady who was lovely but I had one garment which I asked if I could pay as well as my glasses she said no problem the computer was being a bit slow and I asked politely if she had took for my garment as well before she could answer this other lady who has worked there for a long time (slim blonde lady with glasses)said give her a chance she can only do one thing at a time I was only asking and wasnt being rude but I was quite taken back by her I left feeling a bit miffed .obviously hope has not read all my review seeing her reply.

Optician found a problem at the back of my eye ,and promptly got me appointment at hospital ,now after an operation I am looking forward to going back to Asda for new glasses .

I went here to see Zahir through recommendation for my eye test. He's an amazing optician and makes you feel extremely comfortable and is very professional. I actually recommended a few people to see him! However, there is a but. The Caucasian lady working on reception is extremely rude. She seems to forget that her job involves customer service. This is a generic comment, as there wasnt an altercation involved. I remained polite whilst speaking with her however she is simply unwilling to help and pretends shes extremely busy when theres literally no one there. People like this need to be replaced, respectfully! The other asian lady working there is very nice. Ive spoken to someone else who visits this opticians and they had the exact same experience, so it wasnt just a bad day either! It actually led to her not purchasing glasses from here! People really need jobs these days, some people are just too comfortable with being unkind!
