Smarties Day Nursery

Poor management team and deceptively portray their image even in recent articles following poor safeguarding. Disappointing as many staff were fantastic and majority have moved on. Staff turnover is very high and offers little stability for children.

Used to be a wonderful local nursery, but all went downhill when it was bought by the Welcome Nurseries chain, who from experience are just awful to deal with. Refer to Ofsted report for authoritative information.

Such an amazing nursery with wonderful staff. My little girl went to another nursery which she never enjoyed (was very upset every single day!!) but at Smarties nursery she settled in soo well from the 1st day (she even says bye on drop offs). I'm greatful to all the staff who are so warm, friendly and pays attention to her development and social skills. They have put lot of efforts and cleaning procedures in place during this unprecedented times which is absolutely remarkable. Just to say, many thanks for looking after my daughter and keeping her safe.
