Phones never go through they sent all the patients across the road to walk in centre or call 111. Remember this play was useful before covid now it's just an excuse to send patients away.

Awful. Avoid at all costs. Had an asthma review with the nurse (asked to see a GP as I had just been given steroids by a walk in centre). After waiting 2 weeks for an appointment, the nurse saw me an hour after my appointment time. She asked me some questions and completed a form on her computer. When I asked if she was going to do a peak flow test (had this done at previous reviews) or if she was going to request for my inhalers to be prescribed again as they had almost run out, she told me this was not her job (concerning given she had concluded my asthma was poorly managed at present). This asthma review served no useful purpose. When I complained to the receptionist, I explained that I had barely any of my Ventolin left and I was having asthma attacks and flare ups regularly. The receptionist said the on call doctor would not prescribe them and I needed an appointment. She informed me that if I have an asthma attack, I should call 111. A day later, I had an asthma flare up and knowing I had no medication left anymore, I visited an out of hours doctor who was appalled by the way this surgery has treated me. She conveyed this to the surgery in her notes yet I have heard nothing from the surgery since! I will be looking for a new surgery imminently. This surgery never answer the telephone, you rarely get to see a GP, the nurse I saw was beyond rude and you can only complain in writing by post or in person. I do not understand why this surgery does not allow complaints to be lodged on their website or via email. Their online services are non-existent! I have seen the response from the surgery to other complaints merely offering an apology and asking the patient to get in touch. A more proactive approach would be appreciated.

Terrible service. I been chasing an admin query regarding my medical history, was supposed to receive a call regarding this a week ago. Its quite normal as a level of service to either call someone back with an update when promised even if it wasnt resolved at that point. When asking to be called back as i cant get through on the lines to keep chasing, i was told i may or may not get a phone call and this was perfecting normal apparently. So when asking for practice manager details to raise this i was told i couldnt have it and that was it, when asked why i couldnt contact the manager i was told that i just couldnt, when questioned how i raise something i had the phone put down on me. This is something that has been stressing me out for weeks and its just getting nowhere and with no remorse to even keep in touch or provide basic rights to speak to someone or even a complaints procedure or anything. Whats the point of running a service ? Im still also waiting for someone to contact me regarding my recent blood results which i have done my own research and checked online and they need attention but hey no responsibility for patient welfare at all here. Such a shame really how things are heading with the GP services in the UK. Some things i appreciate are out of control but seriously these are basic customer/patient services that are not being met, whats the hope! Ive worked in healthcare a long time before i recently left and ive never lacked on providing service to any patient. How things change due to lack of good management. Disappointed to say the least.
