My dad was sent to Diamond care home for rehabilitation for his mobility after spending 6 weeks in hospital. My dad was there from 23 Dec 2022 , he was really poorly and was put on end of life a couple of days after arriving. The staff were fantastic with my dad , very caring, and compassionate and nothing was too much trouble for them. Unfortunately my dad passed away on the 2nd Jan 2023 with his family around him. I would definitely recommend this care home, they go the extra mile not only for their residents but for the families too. Thank you to all the staff. From John Whitfield's family

Reviews are always subjective and no two cases are the same. I know when I was looking for a care home for my mum the more reviews I could read the better because they were from people who would be in the same situation as myself. My mum was residing in the Sapphire Unit which is a new part of Diamond House so the overall appearance of the home and rooms is fresh and modern. The food is very good and there is always a freshly baked homemade cake each day. I got to know a lot of the staff and most of them were caring, kind individuals and my mum had a good relationship with a few of them in particular. However her stay was not without incident and when these issues were raised with the management criticism was not taken well. I didn't see or get asked for input into a care plan and there was no wish to work through the issues that had occurred. If you are prepared to put up and shut up then this is a perfectly acceptable home. If not then I suggest you look elsewhere.

I know from friends that this a nice place, I've just delivered a bir wheelbarrow full of fruit and veg....

My father passed away after 2 years in the home.they were so caring and friendly.couldnt do enough to make his stay a happy one .kept us up to date throughout the pandemic.a huge thank you from all the family of peter reed
