George Hythe House Residential Care Home

My mother in law recently stayed here for 4 weeks whilst we went away. We spoke daily with the staff and had a video call when we could. She looked bright and mentioned the activities she was encouraged with. It was nice to see she was out in the lounge and didn't just stay in her room. Came back with gaining weight so clearly she enjoyed the food! Thank you to Vicky and her lovely team :) we will be back!

Horrible place to be and work. Residence are being often neglect. Making beds perfectly is more important then preparing a lunch for residents. Not mention luck of stuff. Conflict of a business as members of manager family are hire there which results in conflict between all employees. They will ask you to work very hard and have many responsibilities for minimum wages. You have to pay for your own DBS check. When residents are run out on adults pads, the man's pads would be use on a females residents or just putted to bed without. Not recommended for anyone who really care of elderly people their own family or others
