I am a patient at Asquith Surgery Leicester and have had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Bawa for my many ailments! She is the kindest doctor that I have come across, putting me at ease and explaining my medical problems. She is a very caring person which will be invaluable in her medical career and make her an excellent GP. Sending kind regards and best wishes for her future. Patricia Wall.

The physiotherapist recommended I take some lactulose oral solution ,as I already had some but I needed some more ,I ordered some ,unfortunately this was not on my prescription as this item lasts a long time ,however I advised that when I wanted some more that I, should write in and ask for this item re a previous DOCTOR of mine , I did not realise I was going to be refused this item, I am very upset about this as I suffer a lot from constipation, not having this item will now result In me having a bleeding abuse, extreme pain and even more problems re my constipation. I am really upset about this ,me being a new patient .

Ive never felt welcome at this surgery. Neither in person nor over the phone. Its frustrating having to wait A MONTH for a GP call after getting abnormal tests results. The receptionists are trained to follow guidelines that do not contemplate special circumstances as underlying conditions. They need further training on social skills and guidelines need to be reviewed.
