        In 2020 I purchased a Hugo Boss watch from Ernest Jones at Bath where the staff were very helpful and polite. On March 17 2023 I took the watch to the Leicester (my home town) shop for a new battery as my watch had stopped. The charge was 22.00 and estimated date for collection printed on receipt was April 4. I phoned Leicester branch on April 3 to see if my watch would be ready. An extremely rude and obnoxious man (manager?) said it wasnt ready and battery replacements could take 4-6 weeks!!!! I told him I would like the watch back and my 22.00 refunded. The next day I had a phone call to say my watch (without the new battery) was ready for collection! Unbelievable!!! When I went to collect my watch he said the watch would have been ready if I had waited one more day! He took his time on the til to action the refund and said it would take 4 days to reach my bank. My account was credited that same day! If Ernest Jones cannot give a better after sales service than that why cant they be honest instead of assuming the customers are idiots!!! I have now found an extremely efficient and polite watch repairer who has replaced my battery in 24 hours for a cost of 10.00. I highly recommend CM watch repairs who have restored my faith in customer service - thankyou
