Equifax

Equifax gave me a few years of their product that detects usage of my personal data on the web.. this was due to them being hacked and were the ones that leaked my data... I'm guessing this was a way to avoid paying compensation to the 200 million(!) people affected; see '2017 Equifax data breach'. Anyways, the product was useless as it obscured so much info, so I couldn't tell what info was used where, therefore I couldn't take any action. I tried to close my web account, the offshore call centre basically told me they don't want to do that as it's too much effort. Eventually they raised a ticket with wrong info that went onto my credit history. Having had enough I raised an official complaint, which they resolved with no action or comment. Support and service so bad it feels like a scam company, despite being a credit agency and allowed to have all your info.

DISAPPOINTING INCOMPETENT, You call the 0800 number and get through to someone in the Philippines, their English is poor and this company is a rip off..access to credit report is NIL....
