What a lovely team of carers...tracey- you're a star.the carers are so good,kind and understanding.Nothing seems too much trouble for them.i feel at ease knowing my mom is well cared for.thankyou all x

A genuinely lovely, warm and friendly home for my mum. The bedrooms are not big, but nicely furnished and includes TV, sink, toilet, etc. There is a lift for accessing the upper floors and staff are always there to help residents move to and from their rooms to the social areas. The lounges are bright and warm, with lots of comfortable seating. A couple of the lounges have a TV, and the TVs are not dominating. Many of the residents seem to prefer to relax in the quieter lounges. The dining rooms are pleasant, homely and well equiped. The meals are cooked on-site and appear to be excellent. There are regular activities/events at The Lodge, including musicians and singalongs. My mum really loves the music. All the staff I've met so far are lovely, caring and very patient with the residents (and visitors!). My mum feels settled and safe here.
