Complete waste of time Gave up after 4hrs waiting on the phone

This practice is absolutely awful. My husband reported a problem in January. He has been fobbed off with junior staff and telephone consultatations. The last time he tried to get an appointment by the time he got through they said all the appointments were full as a doctor had rung in sick. After complaining a doctor did eventually ring him but was in too much of a hurry to listen to him properly. He prescribed laxatives and said to go to A&E if it didn't go away in two weeks. I have resorted to paying for a private GP who suspects something serious. I face paying a considerable amount for tests the NHS should do for free. Don't know how I am going to find the money but I will.

I have just been told they only have 1 doctor a day nowadays. 1. Is that some kind of joke. No wonder no one can get an appointment if you are lucky enough to get past reception that is. Phone appointments booked weeks in advance. By the time you receive the call back you are dead.

This place is a joke and has been since singh, minhas and the other one left. You start phoning at 8 am , 380 radials later your in a que. And still cant get a appointment. You never get to speak to any one. Maybe a nurse at the most. Been waiting for treatment for copd but they won't test my breathing so I cant get help. I'll be dead before they answer the phone
