The surgery has been long running and even though they may be short staffed they still help you as much as possible. Yes the wait on the phone for appointments may be long in the mornings, or there isn't great seating space or receptionist can't handle a large number of patients at once BUT they do try thier best to assist you. The reception area has a tablet to allow you to self sign inm the receptionist speak Hindi and gujarati too to communicate better with the local demographic. The surgery has lots of services and appointment times it just requires some patience from the patient's attending.

this is an appalling practice- the staff (including GPs) lack compassion for their elderly patients. Terrible telephone manner and poor response

This is the best medical centre for people who love waiting in queues on the phone, and then want to be disappointed. This place used to be really bad, but has since managed to drag itself down. For your information, I have provided 3 case studies which happened with the same week for your understanding. 1. My father is in a wheelchair, he had been given an appointment at Doncaster Road for an injection. 2 people ahead of him went in after speaking on the intercom. When we tried the intercom multiple times, no one would answer, eventually after 10 minutes someone answered the intercom. 2. Some of the Doctors at this surgery are General Timewasters. We booked an appointment for my father for 2 ailments that he had, however, during the call the doctor decided that their time was better spent lecturing me that she only had time to deal with one thing and that I should have booked and told the receptionist there were 2 things I needed to talk about! 3. I received a message to apply for the Flu vaccine, when I clicked the link, there were no dates or times available to book! I have also tried to complain to the surgery/management, but no one wants to answer the phone, if anybody has a solution whereby the surgery can be contacted I would be happy to do so. As other reviews have suggested, you will be spending over an hour on hold. If you're lucky, you might get to speak to someone.
