To help balance the reviews, Ive just had an excellent experience at Merlyn with a booked appointment via 111. There was minimal waiting time and I was looked after by friendly receptionists and doctors. Having a pharmacy on site is a pro as well. I appreciate experiences may change pending how busy they are but I went in expecting the worst but came pleasantly surprised.

A nightmare of an experience. Cover ups in the Merlyn Vaz by Linette Tsata who has falsified statements claiming she handed my paperwork containing my CTO rights to me on a certain date which she didn't. This incident took place in the year 2021 and it is a shame that nurses and doctor's are not under the scope and investigated for failing their duty of care towards patients like me. These so called semi-professionals are over paid and under worked, make mistakes too and cover up their mistakes since they have the authority to to make it appear as if they cannot make mistakes, but instead choose to blame patients. I asked to change my doctor, who is my doctor and consultant in the community, but to no avail. Again, a disgrace for a consultant who asks the patient what prognosis to put on paper, unless he is incompetent? A doctor who has continued with his claim without evidence, that the patient is suffering from persecutory delusions relating to the hospital care he has receive, continued on from the Bradgate Mental Unit. It has been approximately 1 year since I last received my CTO rights, but was officially informed that I was to be handed my rights every 3 months. Thankfully, now off CTO completely but this is beyond a joke. The NHS are full of cover ups and continue to justify medication to patients based on unfounded and false claims.
