Their service is characterised by unnecessary long delays and frustration. Their system is not created for international users, it takes them weeks to clarify simple issues, and they have now been in possession of my passport for perhaps 2 months. What should be a simple issue turns into a game of hot potato as you navigate through all of their staff. If you use this service, be careful! You will need to remember to check up on your application every week. When they inform you that you should patiently wait for something to be posted to you, be aware that they may not have posted anything and that it will never arrive! There truly have been problems at every single stage.

Simply no way to get in contact with them! Ive been trying for 8 months to get in contact with them - both phone numbers listed on their site are broken (if you dial it just comes up with a recorded message saying that number is not in operation) and they ignore all emails. Bizarre!

I have been using DDC for 6 years for all my teacher DBS checks. Any issues / queries I have had I give them a call and they talk me through a resolve. When I searched for their number just now I saw a low Google rating and was compelled to read the comments. Yes it is true if you complete a DBS check but do not submit and withdraw it you are charged a 10 admin fee. Isn't that kind of standard. Lump it and take it I say. And then other people calling them crooks, seriously it's not a way to review a company. I have used them for 6 years and they have been nothing but professional. I am an actual customer. Brilliant Bilinguals, Maribeliam Ltd. Take it from me they have not ripped me off and I have used them for over 10 DBS checks over the years and have found them to be professional and even I would say "nice" with all correspondence I have had with them so people reading reviews don't believe all negative reviews you read. Some are not what they seem. Give me a call at Brilliant Bilinguals and I will give you honest advice on them. For someone like me with no idea on how to navigate the DBS system they have been a godsend!
