A lovely shop that sells a range of things. Friendly and helpful staff. Visited the shop many times over the years.

Just ordered take away from here and it was disgusting. Had to wait 10 mins to order. It then took 20 mins to arrive. It was supposed to be chicken peri peri but it was doused so much in the sauce that the bread was falling apart. I tried scraping the sauce off the chicken to eat separately but it was rubbery and under cooked so I had to throw it away.

I recently visited the shop and found them extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The bread, was the best i have ever tasted. Thank you.

Absolutely appalled by the narrow minded staff who have put ridiculous discriminating 'covid' rules in place.I went there with my 22 year old son who has special needs and was told that he could not come in the shop with me because they only allow one customer at a time. I told the assistant that he was my son who has special needs and therefore from the same household only to be told 'that if anything happened they would be more at risk'.ie, the staff would be more at risk of catching covid. Totally outrageous and unacceptable. Consequently I did not buy anything from this dreadful shop. I would have given no stars if it was possible. My advice is not to go to Green and Pleasant if you, or anyone you are with, have health issues or special needs. This is discrimination against the most vunerable members of society and will not be tolerated.

This was my second visit to the shop, I was served by the same chap both times. He was very friendly and helpful, nice little shop with a wide selection.
