In December last year (2022) staff including Team leaders could be seen clearly consuming alcohol in the office before there Christmas party. In the early hours the following morning, students were woken up by a loud noise an intoxicated staff member was attempting to drive one of Unites vehicles but hit a building then continued driving offsite. James McMillan the Regional General Manager confirmed by email that the member of staff had been intoxicated and stated the matter had been reported to the police. The police had not been informed about the incident. Unite students clearly think they are above the Law.
