Staff are amazing. But they aren't supported. The owner of these lccl homes doesnt care if patients live or die, he doesnt give a damn about his staff... he is a disgrace to the care community. Dr Davie Vive Kananda only cares about money...

Our Father has been a resident at Curtis Weston House since 7th January 2019 after devolping that cruel condition 2 and a half years ago called dementia. Unfortunately many families experience their much loved parent not being able to care for their own needs anymore and is such a worrying and heartbreaking time. Normal feelings of concern, will our dad settle? will he make friends? but most of all will our dad be looked after? I don't know where to begin with the praise and thanks to all of the staff connected with Curtis Weston House from the cleaner to the Manager Louise who can be very proud of her team who are a credit. The professionalism and dedication shown by all in what is in no uncertain terms a demanding job has been second to none, staff been working long long shifts but still find time to show residents care and love nothing is too much trouble. All my family are living this dementia nightmare with our dad which causes it's own challenges within our family but we are strong and together, having piece of mind knowing our dad is in the best place possible being cared for and safe is a huge comfort so thank you Curtis Weston House, I would recommend CWH to anyone. After yet another damning review of Curtis Weston I felt I needed to update my previous comments. Whilst my opinion of staff remains true, I genuinely feel the staff we knew that looked after our dad did their level best, sadly our dad no longer with us passing away in June this year in Curtis Weston however my feelings towards the owners is one of disgrace, i have to ask how on earth you can sleep at night and you are a disgrace to your profession and in humanity itself. Have you no conscience??? Its quite clear the level of support, training given to your staff was and is deplorable, they are obviously treated unfairly like dogs meaning that they were not able to do their jobs properly meaning you were prepared to put the health and safety of our dear relatives and your own staff at risk. Shame on you, you need striking off. What invironment did you subject our dad to live in FFS????
