Very convenient and efficient shop. Ordered some paint online and picked it up in store about a month ago. The lovely lady behind the desk - Kathy - was very helpful. Will definitely be using this store again

Have used this place intermittently over the last couple of decades and when it was a Dulux decorator centre prior to becoming brewers. Generally I've found it to be a decent bet for obtaining more 'serious' decorating wares as I believe it to be targeted more at the trade. On my last visit I was looking for a specific paint type due to the nature of the project and requirements thereof. It was a bit of a detour for me to get there without being a massive incontinence and I wanted to take advantage of being relatively local that day. I phoned ahead to make sure all was well with my plan. Unfortunately on arrival the staff were unable to enter the colour code into the machine. I should have put the brakes on there and then but wanted to get on so ended up choosing from a very limited colour range and predictably came away with something I didn't really want, and sure enough once applied the colour was wrong. I don't live near any decorator centres so visiting one is a special trip. Prior to buying the replacement pain I did some research and found that a) Kent Blaxill charges about 15% less for the same product and confirmed it could mix the right colour, and; b) I could mail order it from Rawlins Paints in Leeds including delivery for only a 'splash' more than picking it up myself from Brewers. Taking account of mileage this was the cheaper option let alone my time saving. Have now got what I wanted in the first place but it was a mission when it didn't need to be. All in all a lose-lose for brewers on this occasion for both service and price. Shame when the former could be resolved with some training, but they're in the bottom portion of my supplier list for now at least.
