I went to this garage after seeing its reviews. I was having problems with starting the car in the mornings. I left the car with the mechanic at 1.30 pm and he phoned me at around 3 pm saying that my 3 of my glow plugs didnt work. Before I had even said anything he continued to say that he had already ordered the plugs without consulting me first. I felt pressured and agreed for him to change them. He proceeded to tell me it would cost me 130 cash and 156 with VAT. It made more sense to agree to the latter as I was already paying an arm and a leg. Although the problem with the car seems to be rectified my problem is that he over charged. Because he saw I am a woman, I think he saw an opportunity to make more money. I found later on that the cost of 3 plugs would be around 50. So that means he charged 80 just to fit them in which is quite an easy job for a mechanic. That is why I've left 2 stars, although he did the job satisfactorily he saw a fool like me coming.
