We wish we knew Drinks Chef was Bottling UK! The lack of professionalism and failure to complete a service and produce a product that we spent the last 2 years working on. As a startup with limited funds, we reached out to this company who we believed to be an all encompassing drinks manufacturing service provider. From a design perspective, we were given a portfolio of 'drinks brands' they claim to have worked on but the quality and output of brand design could not be any further from what we were provided. They have retained almost 10k of our money failing to produce industry standard work. We tried desperately to mitigate a refund but have been met with unprofessional founders who terminated their so-called services promptly when we bought this to their attention. We beg other startups to stay well clear of this company, as we have since seen a negative review in the last 3 months from another disgruntled customer voicing the same concerns. It has become even more disturbing to learn multiple brands they had been dealing with has also departed ways on the same basis and have also been left out of pocket without completing services agreed, a reoccuring theme it would seem. Upon further investigation, note that multiple companies [BOTTLING UK, JEFFRIES VINTAGE DRINKS LTD, BREW & BOTTLE LIMITED, BOTTLING INTERNATIONAL LTD] have now all been dissolved. Stay clear of this company if you value your hard earned funds and drinks brand, as you will inevitably end up out of pocket and without anything to show for it. Collectively they are a disgrace in this industry and should not be allowed to continue to take on new clients, let alone get away with fraudulent activities.

WARNING! This outfit has re-named itself Renegade Drinks It's the same criminals running it. They are well known in the drinks industry as being crooks. If you want your product exploding on the shelf then by all means use them - otherwise avoid like the plague! They are also well known for using threatening behaviour.

We had 25% of 7000 units produced at Bottling UK leave their site with split caps. So we had to go through each item and check which caps had split and throw them away. Then clean up the mess the split caps had caused. Also every single cap had black dirt on them. Not sure where this came from. Bottling UK also just forgot to put BBE & Batches on these items despite the fact it as clearly marked on our production sheets we sent in. In addition the wastage rate was about 30% making it the most expensive production run we ever had as so much of our ingredients was used and and then wasted in the pipes and not ending up in the actual bottles. I am also unconvinced they didn't follow our recipe properly as the end products tasted so different from how they should. I have spoken with one apple cider vinegar company who used them. Bottling UK produced items exploded on Holland & Barrett shelves putting the company out of business. Another company I know got put out of business because Bottling UK botched one of their runs. This company had paid upfront and couldn't get a refund and so couldn't afford to rerun. I have also heard multiple other businesses have had issues particularly around items not being labelled properly Not only did I have to spend money to fix the issues, but we lost huge amounts of sales because of the issues. We estimated the total loss at 120,000 in lost sales and cost of fixing the issues. DO NOT USE THEM. I am amazed they are still in business. If I could give them minus stars I would.
