Paul and Tom are amazing builders who have built my wife and I a gorgeous new build family home. They have made the process smooth and have responded to issues/snags efficiently. They have a great team behind them who share the same morales. They have given us more than any other builder could so it was a no brainer. Definitely would recommend Country House Ltd.

Paul and Tom have been great from offer, through completion and snagging. They have built us a fabulous family home which we could not be more happy with. From the start they provided the personal touch that other big builders simply can't match. We would have no hesitation in recommending Countryhouseco to friends and family.

Buy a house these guys build at your peril! They feature the house I bought on their website (Groby 2014) and now the wooden window frames are rotting with lumps falling from them. The response from Country House "they're out of warranty" Good luck if you buy a house these guys build! updated post replying to the 'owners response' Thank you for your response. I am fully aware when I bought my barn conversion as the law firm I work for handled the conveyancing. The reason my review mentioned "Groby 2014" was because that's what YOUR website says under a picture of the barn I bought. So you either don't know (which you clearly do based on your response) or there is some other reason why you have put an inaccurate or misleading date on your website? Your website clearly says "May 2014" and I have attached the picture for your information. I did call your company despite what the unpleasant text message you sent me on Friday morning said. The person who answered the phone did say "they are out of warranty" and either had the authority to speak on behalf of the company or shouldn't have been answering the company's landline. He didn't say, "let's come and have a look" or "we'll see what we can do" he instead tried to shift the responsibility and did give me the window manufacturers details who I contacted. Having heard nothing for 3 days I did post on social media. Maybe not getting back to a customer for 3 days (as they didn't) is OK in your book but not good customer service in my opinion. Having since spoken to the window supplier and based on their helpful and cooperative manner I have since removed the social media reviews which is fair based on their response. You say the window frames were softwood which surprises me and suggests to me anyway that 'cheaper' materials were used. All my windows have been maintained in line with the other 3 barn owners in the development although I understand that you have previously had to carry out significant repair and replacement work on windows/frames on at least one if not more of the other barns in the development so it would appear not just to be mine where there have been issues!
