The customer care is awful after you buy your house. They are no different to any other builder just after your money. Its a little bit disappointing with the aftercare if Im honest. The house is a good build however some of the workmanship hasnt been great internally and shortcuts have been taken. Do not buy any of their extras the quality is appalling. The lawn we paid extra for and its the cheapest grade and was laid really poorly with bent edges and parts of the lawn already dead before we moved in. A year later and we are still waiting for this to be rectified. Do not take their integrated fridge/freezer either its the cheapest quality and has already broken down on us, weve only been here a year. The fridge keeps freezing our food and we are having to throw a lot of food in the bin due to this as its uneatable once defrosted. We have had numerous issues with the French doors and currently cant even open one set. My main issue with the after care is that Bloors first answer is NO to everything you really have to fight them to get anything rectified which is just wrong considering what we paid for the houses. They currently have phase 2 being built and the amount of dust and grime coming over to our houses is unbelievable but again Bloors answer is to do nothing. They have not made any effort to reduce the dust on site and this is only the beginning of phase 2 so we Weill have another couple of years of this. Residents have suggested to put hoarding up or cover the fence to stop the grit blowing into our eyes but their answer was NO. Im an asthma sufferer too so its really hard for me to live in these conditions. We are having to wash our car weekly and windows are disgusting so having to get everything cleaned more frequently. Its just a disgrace that Bloors dont care about the people who are buying their houses, no wonder they are not even part of the considerate contractors scheme. Not forgetting the fact that they have allowed 2 properties to change planning permission and converted to care homes where there has been a lot of trouble in this last year. This goes against their covenant however Bloors dont seem to be bothered and were not honest about this when we bought our home we found out when the trouble started. If I was to make this decision knowing what I know i wouldnt buy here again.

We got a property at Cottage Farm Oadby, we decided on it in the summer to be ready for November. We dealt with Simon and Charlotte, they were simply amazing :)!
