- I booked an end of tenancy deep clean and the ladies did not turn up. I had to contact them to be told they were short staffed and had to cancel, 45 minutes after they were due to come. Understandable but I would have appreciated being told.
- They turned up the next day 40 minutes late which was inconvenient with work scheduling.
- The ladies left within 2 hours and had not attempted multiple areas such as inside the cupboards, drawers, fridge and the bathroom floor still had hair/ dirt on it - these were easily rectified by myself and so they clearly had just not attempted these areas.
- The contract states if you were unhappy with the service they will rearrange and I was told by Anne on the phone that they would come the next day. I did not hear from her and when I called her she said they were not coming out as the cleaners had said the flat was in too much of a state - even though when I spoke to them mid clean they assured me it was all okay and they were able to do the job. It seemed like a bad excuse given I was able to clean it myself, especially given Anne had not seen the flat herself to make the judgement.
- Anne was very rude and dismissive on the phone, and did not apologise for cancelling last minute and not informing me, ladies arriving late the second day or the inadequate service. She even hung up the phone abruptly. They breached the contract and were very rude about it.
- I sadly lost 285 (given before the clean) for an inadequate service and a lot of hassle/stress/ work for myself
- I should have listened to previous reviews about deep cleans and also about rudeness as this seems to be a recurring pattern.
- I would have considered merry maids for maintenance cleaning for my next property but I definitely will not now. Services: Moving-related cleaning, Deep clean
