Can't say enough great things about this place, and especially the people that work here. Really looked after my sister during her final days. Please donate

My dad passed away peacefully in loros on September 20th. The care and compassion he received from the nurses, doctors, volunteers and all the staff was amazing. We as a family could not have got through this without them. The staff really are angels in disguise. Loros is a beautiful place with tranquil peaceful gardens which when times are tough are a pleasure to sit in to gather your thoughts. Please support this wonderful place as it is charity based and receives all of its funding through donations. Until you or a loved one uses loros you do-not realise what an amazing place it is. Thank you for everything from Davids family.

My name is Dale Lawrence and I am currently employed by loros as a facilities officer based at the main hospice and I would like to share my experiences in working there for the last 2 years, I would like to say that the nurses housekeepers and domestics team are absolutely amazing and deliver the best care they can, and this in no way represents them, my revelations are about the management team and the people behind the scenes and the deplorable way they treat their staff members and the shocking way they throw and indeed waste the money that gets donated by hard working people that do not necessarily have a great deal but are led to believe that loros is a good place so feel compelled to donate, I have witnessed fraud and thefts on a regular basis at the hospice to which I have reported to my line manager one Mr Richard Hill only to be told I need to watch what Im saying thus enabling these deplorable things to continue to happen all whilst collecting his vastly inflated wage packet, please keep checking the reviews page as well as the loros twitter and Facebook page where I will continue to reveal more on practices as well as the wastefulness of the money they receive not only on products that are not fit for purpose but the highly inflated wages that these people receive for example the new CEO Mr Rob Parkinson who receives one hundred thousand pounds a year as well as a relocation package and company car
