Absolute joke. I was told to ring 7 days after a blood test for the results so this is exactly what Ive done. Sat waiting for 20 minutes before someone finally answered the phone. Only to get absolutely no where whatsoever. Useless.

I rang this morning to request a callback from a doctor for my two week old baby that has really bad oral thrush, diagnosed by both HV and midwife, really really rude receptionist on the phone took my call @ exactly 10am, she told me I needed to register my newborn and come in and collect a form, that registration can take upto a week and I would get a text when he is registered, I explained I had a C section, I couldnt get there, both my HV and Midwife told me the doctor would more than likely prescribe drops over the phone, I explained I am in pain and limited on going out and about unless it was really necessary - her reply get someone to collect the form then, not my fault you are complaining your newborn has thrush, by this stage I was just down right upset, I was certain that newborn babys can be seen under their Mum until 6 weeks, I was out right refused medical help and still sitting here with a very unsettled new born baby suffering, it is a disgrace and I will absolutely, with every part of me be taking this further, for both the way I was spoken to and being refused a doctor for my baby.

Cannot give ZERO therefore 1 star VERY VERY bad surgery , from receptionist to GP no response to elderly patients, my parents feel as if because they're old thats why no one cares My father was spoken to rudely about reordering his medication, receptionist would not put it through, she has no authority Now my mother who's suffering with very bad pain, almost bent over with back pain and all she's given are stronger dose of painkillers which disagree with her stomach and they just dismissed like that WHY DO THEY NOT EVEN CHECK THROUGH X-RAY OR SOME OTHER WAY OF CHECKING I've had to put this through review because she's just told me how much pain she's in This surgery used to be the best around in Birstall

Im a patient at this practice and Ive always found the receptionist and all staff and drs to be very helpful and caring Im grateful for the help and care Ive received.
