I recommend dining elsewhere. I will certainly not be back, so money that I might have spent there will be spent elsewhere, and McDonald's can eat the cost of the fine themselves that way.
UPDATE (for those who are interested): So I rang McDonald's up and they very helpfully cancelled the parking fine (it turns out that this is a thing you can do) with no hassle. Therefore I've updated my rating accordingly.
I've left a star off though, because their system is still stupid even though this obviously isn't the individual restaurant's fault.
Parking: Rip-off fines for over-staying. Go elsewhere.
