Great energy supplier and very efficient in responding to queries. Only issue for me was a lack of SEG tariff, else I would have stayed with them. In an environment where everyone is getting solar panels, outfox will be outfoxed by the other suppliers who have higher customer only SEG rates as they move to other suppliers to take advantage of these rates!

Okay to start with but eventually started increasing my rates to beyond unrealistic amounts and struggled to pay their monthly amount so-called their helpline I spent an hour and a half on hold only to be told that the team that dealt with payment plans were busy they could call me within 48 hours but only if I increased my direct debit amount by over 80 I agreed as I needed to have some sort of plan in place to pay off my outstanding bill after this over 2 and a half months went by with no one from the payment team to bother getting in touch even after sending multiple emails requesting a phone call or reply, this company had very reasonable rates, to begin with, but it seems they are only in the MARKET to outfox their customers would stay well away just swapped to octopus and saved myself 74 odd this month on my bill

Scammers calling them selves one of the cheapest providers, they are far from that been billed 6000 just for a years gas usage funny thing is I only use 70-80kwh a month so go figure,

Im in credit with company asked for it back was told would receive on the 27/03/2023 you canceled this and have now said it will be on the 17/04/23 its my money you phone up and all you get is Ill chase it and then never hear back from them if in credit please chase your money terrible customer service.

Not one to leave negative reviews, but never been ripped off so blatantly, so here we go. Was with outfox the market around 4 years, but after energy prices started increasing at the end of 2021, they kept ramping up my direct debit amount, even though it far outweighed my usage (I was paying for more than double my actual usage). I requested a refund of the hundreds of pounds of credit I had built up, and only received a portion of it back, stating that the reason for this was that my bills might increase in the future. The only option I had to get my money back was to switch away from OTM, and in the process of doing so, they've adjusted the billing section in my account twice, to benefit themselves to the tune of around 150, absolute con merchants!
