Bargain Booze Select Convenience

Went to this shop today with my mum when she was buying something from behind the till. I had a 4 pack of lucozade sport drinks that I had with me when I entered the shop which the woman blatantly saw in my hand. As I was leaving she asked me whether I had a receipt, I asked her whether she was calling me a thief and she said just bring a receipt next time. If she really thought that I had shoplifted she would have tried harder to stop me leaving with the lucozades but she knew that I hadnt stolen them, I feel like she did it to embarrass me in front of another customer. The drinks I brought arent exclusive to the shop that I was buying them from which left me very angry and embarrassed. I wouldnt go within an inch of this shop, Ive had problems in the past with unhelpful staff that are just plain rude. Ive never stolen anything in my life and to be put on the spot like that was just distasteful. And I think if I was stealing something it probably wouldnt be a 4 pack of lucozades, so pretty pathetic and pointless really. Just an embarrassing experience. Check the CCTV before you start accusing customers of theft.
