We had a carvery and really enjoyed it. The staff are polite enough too. We will be going again and would recommend trying it.

One of the worst farmhouse inns I've ever been in, it was a bank holiday monday guaranteed but from how long we waited I gather there was a 45 minute wait for food even though it wasn't even busy and we also hadn't been told of this wait on arrival, there was noone serving on the carvery but the staff were walking past seeing there were people queuing, I ordered the combo feast with texan bbq sauce the sauce never came, I mentioned I was missing it and was given a bottle of bbq sauce instead. It's completely different. The Nacho cheese burger had about a teaspoon of sauce on i and the kids sausages had obviously been sat either in the hot hold or on the pass as they looked a dehydrated mess, id go for the pass personally as they weren't overly hot either. The staff didn't seem to even care which I get its a bank holiday monday they are working in a pub when it's sunny and they dont want to be there however the food was poor and the service too, bo check back nothing, if I was a mystery guest you wouldn't have scored great at all!
