Just bought a car from Mark at Apollo and the whole experience has been brilliant. Can't recommend enough, car seems perfect and Mark could not have been more helpful. Really nice to find a good honest car trader would definitely buy again from Apollo.

This is my experience with Apollo Cars and the DS3 I wanted to buy from them: After being reassured that all checks are done, and the MOT and service will be done on top of this, Ive paid 200 of deposit and agreed delivery date. I needed the car asap as my old one has been written off after accident. I have to admit that contact with Apollo Cars (Sam) was good, and he was responsive . One day before delivery I had this feeling - to double check for recalls. As it happened, there was one safety recall outstanding. (This raised my doubts and mistrust about the checks done on the car, especially that checks for recalls are fundamental responsibility of the seller, by law) Ive told Sam and he managed to arrange the recall, but this involved a significant delay in time to me. When I came to a conclusion that I cant wait, and wished to withdraw from our arrangements, Sam refused to return the deposit. He charged me 120 for transport (which didnt happen) saying that he had to pay the transport company and it is not refundable (obviously nonsense), plus 78 for readvertising the car - a sum which doesnt match reality. Let me mention here, that I have asked him at the very start if the deposit is refundable, and he confirmed that indeed it is, unless the car was delivered to me and I didnt liked it. In this case the transport costs would be deducted. My personal advice: do the checks yourself, dont trust that they have been done, and dont trust any assurance that the deposit is refundable.
