    The so called geniune mercedes oil 229.52 you guys are selling on ebay is either fake or extremely low quality. Seller "Mercedes benz of newcastle " I bought 20l of it. After first oil change on my perfectley healthy mercedes w212 e220 bluetec I experienced cold start lifter tick for about 5 seconds every morning, chain rattle sometimes for 2-3 seconds. I tried engine flush+another oil change with mercedes original filter+injector cleaner, Nothing worked. Took it to diesel specialist they said it could be the oil itself or oil filter or lifters are bleeding down over night (Expensive). Decided to change the oil first so see if that was the problem. I bought Castrol edge 5w30 M from halfords. And wow, what a difference The car is back to how it use to be. No more cold start tick/rattle or tractory sound from the engine.its running super smooth. Lesson: Always buy oil from a reputable seller and a store you can physically visit. Don't fall for online cheap fakery to save few pennies.

    Update to your reply - the individual youre referring to perhaps is the wrong person to investigate especially when theres blatant proven lies. Maybe you need an independent person to review as this is rather serious. Sales under Duress - Land Rover west London - Terrible - stay clear and stay away - they will force your hand and force you into a stressful position. I left a deposit on a new defender 10/12 months ago with the sales advisor saying lets do it now so you dont need to worry about price increases - I worked hard all year to make my dream car happen, I sold my car (5k more to buy again) and left a deposit for months to make it happen. The car arrives with them and they say well if you want it now either sign a new contract with increase amount (5k) or we can sell this within 24 hours - exact words. So Im left with a decision to make, I cant buy my old car back or pay 5k more to buy again, wasted months waiting and left my deposit money with them for months whilst they enjoy the interest on their savings account on my deposit. I took the decision to buy the car anyway and since buying it its left a bad taste of even enjoying the car. Apparently no interest to them what the previous sales person has said or some dealers dont pass on price increases as contracts in place but they dont care. I call it under duress sale as it left me with no choice but to buy as Im now in a position of loss no matter which way I go. I spoke to Sales manager and asked for dealer principle to call me who clearly didnt seem to interested to investigate or review rather wasted time asking irrelevant questions or doesnt bother respond to emails or messages for several days. Terrible service.
