Cake Box Evington Road

Got to the shop and ordered a cake, wanted to pay with my card needed to sign for payment and the staff refused to take payment with card signature. When I ask the reason's for denying the payment they said it is their policy no not except card payments with signature, even when I wanted to produce my documents that proofs the card is mine they have denied. There is nowhere in the shop stating that you cannot pay with signature card so its all policies are in their head and not written for the customers to read. Very poor from them and could not let me speak to the manager as he is not there or busy. Really disappointed for they customer service, very poor and not helpful at all.

Would Rate it 0 Star if I could but I'm being a bit nice today. So I decided to go in on a Saturday, to buy some cake It was the worst experience ever. there was a a long wait and there was 1 staff in the front going back and forth like mad. I waited for my cake for a while and no staff was helpful. there was a bunch of staff in the back giggling and laughing like mad while customers are waiting to be served. Not a good experience would rather bake a cake at home!

The cakes are creamy, rich and moist. I would come back if it was not for the unfriendly attitude.

Guy in the shop made a specialist pink rose cake on the spot , no quibbles , amazing customer service , super clean shop and tasted amazing . 5
