June 3rd I received a phone call to say there was a delay on receiving my order as they come from China. I was given a 200 refund for the battery and told the bike would be with me by end of August start of September. By the end of August/September no news from Alpine. I sent a email which was ignored. I ring Alpine and was told 11th September a delivery would be arranged. By the 11th September I had heard nothing at this point I lost all faith in Alpine. So sent another email saying I would be going through my credit card to get a refund. The only positive I can put on this review is Is this company did give me a refund hence the 1 star.
Shocking customer service no apology. my advice anyone ordering a bike please get everything in writing. As Steve gives you all these promises over the phone and breaks every single 1.
The bike was a present for my Dad and was kept waiting for over 3 months.
Very poor company please avoid they fob you off on the telephone. They now don't want customers to pay in full when placing orders how strange. I am now being told I should have rang before ordering online. If you do not wish for people to pay in full when ordering take the option away. Never in all the years of ordering online have I had someone cross because I payed in full lol
It does sound very weird. If you look at the website it states if you want to discuss finance contact them. If you want friendly advice contact them. I wanted neither I knew bike I wanted I did all the research watched the video. I was happy to wait until end of August/September.
Apparently the bike magically appeared on the 11th September. Strange as I was told I would get a phone call by the 11th to arrange a delivery.
Hmmm somebody telling porkies and please put on the website where the bike is actually being shipped from I think a lot of potential customers would like to know that.
Its a real shame as the youtube video is good but the actual communication and broken promises is very poor. Hopefully they can learn from this review.
