A breath of fresh air, just what we need in Evington. Great service and hospitality from the owner Yasir. Their home made dips go perfectly with their smoked meats! Will be back again for sure! Thanks!

Nice deco and a good variety on the menu with brisket, Smashed burgers and fries chicken as well as a large variety of sides. We tried a smash burger which was ok. Although there is lots of competition and have had better before The chips as a side were nice however needed a sauce as a dip as they were slightly dry. The sliced brisket burger was nice with a very flavoursome seasoning, a good bark as well as smoke ring offering a nice texture and good smokey flavour. Thick slice of brisket with slaw and cheese which was tasty except for one issue. The burger would have been 5 stars however the brisket inside the burger was cold which was disappointing as had it not been it would have been levels above the competition (Pitmasters Manchester/ Ozaks Oldham) The coldness may be due to arriving close to opening time and the warmer not been sufficiently warm or the brisket being cut far too in advance will give the benefit of doubt and return if I'm passing by Leicester again

I would give 3 stars, but I'm going to give these guys the benefit of the doubt because: 1. I ordered via delivery a moment ago. 2. I'm not sure if this place is new or not. The sides were very well cooked, and tasty enough to complement some smoked meat. Mac and cheese was good enough to enjoy as a main, and the fries were seasoned and crispy. However, the brisket was simply too dry, and I think over-done. There was no moistness whatsoever, and the lack of juicyness made it difficult to eat. I don't know if that was a one-off problem, something they do to appease the Leicester crowd, or if it's just how they cook it - But it wasn't good to eat. It's supposed to fall apart, melt in your mouth... But still be a somewhat pink. This was brown throughout and even with sauce, it was still difficult to eat. I don't know if it was just over-cooked, but also seemed as though the meat wasn't rested enough. I'll try again in a month or so, and update the review because I think this place has really good potential.
