Fantastic venue for fresh and not so fresh ! Always entertaining with a variety of great acts.

Had some great evenings here when offering to play for free at the open mic night, bringing in friends both to play and attend. Then the tide turned, still no idea why, the staff just decided that they had a problem. Was addressed with stark rudeness when direct messaging on social media in an attempt to help a mutual friend. Didn't get invited to play any gigs, not even summer or winter sessions, even after playing several times for free at the open mic night (wouldn't mind but some of those who did get invited didn't seem to have justified the booking either with talent or with contributions to the venue's continued success). There's only so much being insulted most of us are prepared to tolerate. Reached the limit. It's a pity to give them such a poor rating, because the venue has potential and they do some great gigs there. However, that's of no help to those who it has been made very clear are not considered worthy of admission. Won't be going back until some acknowledgements and apologies are made, which it does not appear will be anytime soon. Would be delighted to find otherwise.

Love this place, great bands, great sound and great lighting and the staff are very friendly and lovely.
