Kevin the driver slid into my car in icy conditions outside my place of work an MOD site.He gave me his details admitting liability and informed his boss. Proctors have not informed their insurance company and I now have to claim off my own insurance. They make a lot of money from their MOD contract shame on them.

Woman driver dangerously reversed a huge coach into the school lay-by without being able to see if there was any children behind the coach. Blocked 3 roads preventing anyone from leaving the school carpark, the road from the left or the lay-by which was full... When challenged on her dangerous behaviour said it was the taxi drivers who were the problem as they only pick up one child ... Rude woman reported to the council for dangerous driving.. Kevin called about her behaviour and was abusive on the phone ... Shame I could not give zero stars for their dreadful attitude, certainly would not trust them with any of my children's safety

My two children and I have just returned from a fews days in Ripon and wanting to explore the surrounding area without a car, we used Proctor's 159 Ripon/Richmond service. On Thursday 8th July we had tickets booked for Lightwater Valley and therefore caught the 159 that left Ripon Bus Station at 09.40. We purchased two adult and one child return ticket (my eldest son being 18). Our driver kindly informed us that the bus actually entered the grounds of Lightwater Valley and we would therefore not need to walk from the main road. On leaving the bus I asked the driver if the return bus left at 17.51 as stated on both Proctor's website and on the physical timetables at the bus station. I also enquired if the bus would pick us up at the same location as drop off. Although the driver said he was not 100% sure of the exact time, he confirmed that the return bus would pick us up at that exact location. As Lightwater Valley currently closes at 17.00, and as there was nothing else to do, we arrived at the bus stop at approximately 17.10. I double checked the timetable which indeed confirmed the bus was due to arrive there at 17.51. There was also a notice on the bus shelter stating that during September and October the bus would not pick up at the bus shelter and anyone wishing to catch it would need to walk to the main road. Obviously, as it is July, this did not apply to our journey. We waited at the shelter but there was no sign of the bus at 17.51 and by 18.00 my youngest son who is autistic started to become very anxious. We had a restaurant reservation for 19.00 and we were all concerned that not only would we miss that reservation but also, as this was the last form of public transport that ran from Lightwater Valley to Ripon, we would be stranded. I attempted to telephone Proctor's office just after 18.00, however, it was closed. By 18.10, after waiting one hour, there was no sign of the bus and had it not been for an extremely kind member of the Lightwater Valley staff helping us, I am not sure what we would have done. Whilst I appreciate that emergencies, breakdowns and other unforseen circumstances arise, I am absolutely appalled that, at best Proctor's in no way attempted to leave any form of communication on the bus shelter explaining the bus would not be picking up or, at worst, that they and their staff just didn't bother entering the grounds of Lightwater Valley and just left us stranded. After returning I emailed Proctor's and, not surprisingly received no response. I then messaged them via Facebook but, again, received no reply. After looking at Proctor's Facebook it appears that they are in the habit of leaving people stranded. Make alternative arrangements if you can, do not rely on this joke of a company.
