        we were on holiday in Leek last week and happened upon the Hallmark shop. Attracted by the fact that they sell Thorntons chocolates. On entering we were met by some great ladies, all staff working in the shop. My wife has a very sweet tooth and soon selected various chocolates. Not to left out I indicated that I too would like some, and selected the turkish delight and ginger varieties. Throughout our visit we were treated very weel. And would not hesitate in recommending or returning. Well done to all of you. It was a pleasure in spending my wife's money.Norman and Lynda, Bude Cornwall

        I only come here for Yankee candles as the prices are very reasonable. Cards and other gifts not so much.

        I went into the leek shop on Friday 19th August to buy some helium balloons for my mums 60th Birthday party on Saturday 20th August. The lady in the shop said the balloons are good quality and pointed to some balloons that she said had been inflated for a week. I asked the lady which would be the best day to collect the balloons and she said either that same day or Saturday morning. As she showed me the balloons that had been inflated for a week I decided to collect them that evening before the shop closed. The balloons I have to say we're lovely and my mum was really happy with them. On Sunday 22nd I went to visit my mum to find out the balloons had deflated. This has really made me angry because I was told they would last a week. I feel this is unacceptable and will not be buying from there again.. The balloon arrangement cost me 11 and I feel I have been ripped off !!!!
