We work with Hamish at venues across Yorkshire on a regular basis. He is always, happy, warm and a pleasure to work with. In addition he is a true pro who creates breathtaking images. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! We booked Hamish for our wedding this summer. Hamish is brilliant and gets along with everyone! Hamish is accommodating and has high energy! Whilst of course the quality of photos is the most important, it was so important to us that our wedding felt local and homely. Our bar staff were bridesmaids family, evening food was friends catering companies, day food a local cafe etc etc. We didnt want people involved in our day that would feel corporate or out of place. I fell in love with Hamishs Instagram before I knew he was already booked for 2 different friends weddings. One recommended him highly having known him from work, another recommended him without reservation after he did their wedding. We spoke to Hamish and knew he would fit right in to the feel of our day. Hamish photographed our June DIY wedding. I wouldnt go as far as saying I was bridezilla, I like to think I was quite chilled. But I do have OCD and my own very clear image of how I like things. Hamish put up with me really well, one of my bridesmaids at one point stopped me and said youre being really bossy with the photographer, leave him alone! You would have never guessed by the way Hamish treated me. I loved that at one point I was fussing and he shouted at me to just smile and stop kicking off. Hamish is great and so many of our guests have said how great he was and how much they liked him. I hate having my photo taken and the pre wed was a great way to settle that. I felt so relaxed at the wedding and actually quite enjoyed being in front of Hamishs lens. The pre wed was relaxed and chatty. Hamish arrived to the wedding, floated around catching moments in the morning, fixing button holes for my mum and stepping in to wedding day issues naturally, outside of his role of photographer. Hamish organised group photos quickly and efficiently and wasnt too horrified when my uni mates got their bums out in theirs. He managed the wedding party well and commands whole guest photos with presence but happily and enthusiastically. Our photos Hamish has asked me which are my favourite and I really cant answer. He captured the essence of our (long) emotional speeches, and the general happiness of the day. They are perfect. Wedding photography is expensive, and of course there are cheaper options. Hamish is worth the money. His presence on the day and what he produces are most definitely worth what he charges. You keep the photos for a lifetime and I am so glad we trusted Hamish with something I was so so desperate to be perfect. I have also seen my friends previews from her wedding just after ours and I love hers as much as our own. Consistently amazing. He is now going to cost us a further small fortune having them all printed, because I really cant choose. The cherry on top is an extension of the 50% off photo orders because we are on holiday and havent had chance to choose them as a family. You will not regret it.

I don't even know where to start. From first meeting Hamish at our pre-wed, Ruth and I (and our doggo Berts) felt like we had known him for years. Hamish is just so easy to get on with and is just an absolute joy to be around. Hamish had a good vision in mind of what he wanted from the photos, but also incorporated our own suggestions. Nothing was too much of an ask. We got along so well, that we went out for many a margarita that evening and had the best time. On the wedding day, Hamish was calm yet evidently excited to be shooting our day. He ran from room to room, getting all the key snaps, despite being pushed for time and cracked jokes along the way to keep us relaxed. During our ceremony, Hamish was there snapping away but it never intruded into the service. As we come out from the curtains, we were met with a sobbing Hamish and a big hug. Honestly, we were taken away by how much he loves his job and the connections he builds with people in such a short space of time. We all had a little cry together. Hamish was AMAZING at quickly getting people where he needed them for group shots, but people didn't find him at all pushy and kept saying how much they love him. He worked right through until the late hours and joined us for a boogie at around 10:30pm! Unbelievably long day and he was still beaming right to the end. 4 days later and we received the most breathtaking preview photos. We can't stop looking at them and everyone is saying that they are the best wedding photos they have ever seen- they aren't lying. We could not be more grateful that we chose Hamish to shoot our big day. We have the most magical photos to cherish forever and also a bloody amazing new friend.x
