Crossgates Motors

Ok for basic work but otherwise avoid them. I've been using them for the last three years, the good points are that they're open on Saturdays and they reasonably cheap. Lot's of bad points, they often do half a job which requires the vehicle to go back in. They're miserable to deal with, constantly complaining about work and other customers, zero customer service, they never seem to want the work. What really got me in the end was that they couldn't fix my vehicle, too complicated for them (oil leak), so I was waiting on a second hand one that they were thinking of selling, I asked a dozen times for them to call me when they put a price on it and they sold it without getting in touch. I've been a good customer to them, my vehicles have been in more than most, I tip well, I've recommended so many locals to this place, no more, they've let me down far too many times.

Drove up to Leeds for one day and had an intermittent seizing brake on the way. Disc was extremely hot and smelling. Thought it would be impossible to find a garage to fit us in before going home next day. Eddie was brilliant. He fit me in next morning and car was ready within 4 hours. Needed a new brake caliper and price was very cheap. Shame I don't live local as would be my new go to garage. Highly recommended
