Lovely insight of how the Mills worked and the millowners house and the equipment available back then.

We really enjoyed our visit to the mill and spent more time there than wed anticipated. Its island location is stunning, the staff are brilliant, and it was amazing to read about the mills history, watch the video about it, see the well-preserved machinery and equipment and of course to see the functioning water wheel itself. It was a lovely walk to the mill from Leeds Dock and you can take the water taxi to Leeds Dock from Leeds train station. Very enjoyable. Highly recommended.
