El's Gourmet

Decided on trying this place a couple of weeks ago after a google search for halal burgers in Leeds, was very impressed! Nice decor, great personal service and most importantly a completely passionate team making and serving food which they know and care about. Clearly they have considered their menu and ingredients painstakingly. The beef was lean but tender & juicy, the brioche bun was like no other Ive ever had anywhere - golden and fluffy. The chips were good quality too. I plumped for a cake after and although I imagined they would be standard fare, it also was a cut above the norm. Clearly the customers knew this as several people walking past dropped in to take away a slice. After eating I was able to talk with the guys who run it and it became clear this place takes serious pride in making good quality food. Hope to return when I next am in the area and need a bite to eat!

Very talented workers and friendly staff they are helpful in their own way. definitely will call them again.
