The training was sufficient with the Academy. It is unpaid until you get your first placement. The group is absolutely shocking, toxic environment and ex-military individuals would get priority. I tired my best to obtain a placement but there was a severe lack of roles and I was left waiting until 1 week before the 90 day leaving Clause and on one occasion I was put forward for a completely unsuitable data related role.
Please note - even if you are successful the fixed salary is significantly lower than the industry average for IT graduate level roles - look elsewhere and you can easily earn 50% more.
I try to make the best out of situations and like leaving on positive terms - however FDM are absolutely shocking and are borderline scamming graduates! I am sure those who joined alongside me will have a similar experience!
