Beckett Street Car Park (Leeds City Council)

While visiting my sick mother who is in St James, the pay machines were out of order and stated use other machine which was in the same state also it states to pay by phone which not everyone carries a mobile 24 hours a day or maybe not everyone has a smart phone so I was unable to pay, if I receive a fine I'll appeal

Great little car park opposite St James Hospital, & next to cemetery. 1/hour to park up to 4 hours. Convenient off road parking with no height barrier

Two new machines but both "not in use". This is my third visit and and only once have the parking machines been working. Telephone payment very difficult to access - automatic voice kept breaking up so I couldn't hear the options (this was happening to other people there so wasn't an issue with my phone). Eventually call timed out. This also happened to someone else. I eventually gave up and hope I don't get a fine but it seemed more important to get my son to his appointment on time. This is a very poor service especially as it is mainly used by hospital patients/visitors. Please get the machines working

Just found out if you down load ring go app it's easy and you don't worry about keeping loose change as some are out of order you when you park open it up check your location code on the meter and pay
