Do NOT rent from A Team. Liars, frauds, cheats. Some reasons below... 1. Rented a house for 6 students in 2008. Less than a week before moving in they said they they double rented the house leaving us a few days before term to find a new place. 2. They then rebranded from 'The Lettings Room' to A Team without us knowing and we rented from them for our 3rd year in 2009. One room was full of damp, another legally too small to be classed as a room. The fire alarm did not work and took 3 months to repair. The council were notified for their lack of care. 3. A downstairs toilet that was not installed correctly broke and leaked into two of the bedrooms, spreading waste water and sewage into two of the four bedrooms. It was only when we withheld rent after nearly 2 months they decided to come out and fix it. 4. 13 years after renting, I was contacted by a debt collection agency asking for British Gas payments for their property. When we rented with A Team, all bills were included. It seems instead of paying those bills they must have fraudulently created an account in my name to defer the payments to my name instead.

Be weary of this agency. Like other agencies they like to take advantage of students. We were undertaking our tenancy with Hendrie and he Particularly disappointed us. He even lied about his identity so we couldnt file a complaint about him at first .

Try paying for work you want doing , youve not answered any calls or texts, I bet you want paying yourself

The worst experience ever. They never respond to any calls or emails, and will put off problems until you give up asking. Avoid them

Rented off these guys for nearly two years. Started off okay but when rising damp started to become an issue they tried to blame us for not heating the property enough. After a few months they finally sent someone to paint over it. As expected the damp and mould returned. We moved out because it was starting to effect me and my families health and was quoted "unliveable" by a contractor. Without our permission and still within contract they decided to enter the property and carry out major works which made the property unliveable. They were expecting us to carry on paying rent while these works were going on and no apologies have been made at all while we've been with them for any of the above. Completely unprofessional in the way they responded to emails (bullyish) and their conduct, sometimes they didn't reply at all. I would not recommend!
